The Dungeon Dwellers Miniatures

1200 – Wizards in various poses

1201 – Wizards & Magic Users

Notes:

Figure 1201B-1 was taken from Heritage’s Fantasy series, 1301 – Good Wizards; 1301A, and was shown as the figure provided with the Crypt of the Sorcerer set on the front box art photograph. Early sets and blisters may have included this figure.

Figure 1201C-1 was depicted on the front box art for the Crypt of the Sorcerer set. Early sets and blisters may have included this figure.

1202 – Knights

1203 – Fighters (Ranger, Paladin, etc.)

1204 – Clerics

1205 – Thieves & Assassins

1206 – Female Magic Users

1207 – Female Fighters

Note:

Figure 1207A, although sculpted by David Helber, was inspired by figure 1207X, which was sculpted by Max Carr and was never released. At the time, Heritage thought the figure was a little too scantly clothed for the market.

1208 – Female Clerics

1209 – Female Thief

Note:

1209X was the first production figure for this range but may have never been produced. The grapple’s distance from the thief’s body and its size made it difficult to cast. The later 1209A version has the grapple hook closer to the body, making it easier to cast.

1210 – Druids & Monks

1211 – Elven Adventurers

1212 – No miniatures assigned to this number

1213 – Dwarven Adventurers

1214 – Halflings

1215 – Henchmen

1216 – Wizard; Mounted & Dismounted

1217 – Merchants and Pack Mule

Note:

No miniatures were produced for this series.

Note:

No miniatures were produced for this series.

1219 – Witches’ Coven

1220 – Dark Elves (Drou)

Note:

No miniatures were produced for this series.

1223 – Giant Scorpion

1224 – Owl Bear

1225 – Baalzebul

Note:

No miniatures were produced for this series.

1226 – Cloud Giants

Note:

No miniatures were produced for this series.

1227 – Giant Troll

1228 – Creatures of the Astral Plane

Note:

No miniatures were produced for this series.

1229 – Wyvern

1230 – Storm Giant

1231 – Fire Giant

1232 – Cyclops

1233 – Pit Fiend

1234 – Treasure

Notes:

1235 – Dice set

1236 – Berserkers

1237 – Bandit

Note:

Designations for figures 1237A & 1237B could not be confirmed by past Heritage employees and were randomly assigned.

1238 – Skeleton Men

Notes:

Figure 1238B was too hard to cast well and was eventually pulled from casting. Most blister packs typically had figures 1238A, 1238C, and 1238D. Finding a blister with all 4 figures is rare.

1239 – Gnomes

Notes:

Due to casting issues with the spear on figure 1239B-1, this figure was resculpted and replaced with 1239B-2. However, the figure did remain in production until the mold burned out.

1240 – Goblins

1240 – Goblins (Resculpted)

Note:

These figures were later changed when white Box Set 3514 – Level 2 Monsters was developed. Only figures 1240C-2 and 1240D-2 were included in the box sets, but all of the figures eventually made their way into blisters as the molds for the original figures burned out. Since the white box sets were developed towards the end of the company’s existence, finding these figures in a blister is rare.

1241 – Oriental Hobgoblins

1242 – Troglodytes

1243 – Orcs

1243 – Orcs (Resculpted)

1244 – Kobolds

Notes:

Designations for figures 1244A, 1244B, 1244C, 1244D, and 1244E could not be confirmed by past Heritage employees and were randomly assigned.

Many of the blisters put out for this range only included 1244A and 1244B due to casting issues with 1244C, 1244D, and 1244E. As a result, finding a blister with a family of figures is rare.

1245 – Bugbears

1246 – Trolls

1247 – Zombies & Ghouls

Note:

Designations for figures 1247A and 1247B could not be confirmed by past Heritage employees and were randomly assigned.

1248 – Ogres

Notes:

Figure 1248A-2 replaced 1248A-1 as the club in figure 1248A-1 tended to tear the mold as it was pulled out. Figure 1248A-1 was created to simplify casting and extend the life of the mold. At one point, both figures were being cast until the mold for figure 1248A-1 burned out.

1249 – Gargoyles

Notes:

Figures 1249A-1 and 1249B-1 were taken from Heritage’s Fantasy series, 1352 – Classic Gargoyles from Years Gone By and packaged as Dungeon Dwellers. These 2 figures were later resculpted and replaced with 1249A-2 and 1249B-2. Figures 1249C, 1249D, and 1249E are later versions that were created for the Dungeon Dweller series. The wing had no mold designation, so it’s been assigned 1249F. This same wing is used with the 1272 – Dragon. Many of the early blisters put out for this range only included 1249A-1 and 1249B-1, and the wings. The resculpt occurred later in Heritage’s history, so finding a blister with the family of figures would be rare.

1250 – Mummies

Note:

Figure 1250A was taken from Heritage’s Fantasy series, 1354 – Mummy with Coffin, and packaged as Dungeon Dwellers.

1251 – Wolves

Notes:

Figure 1251A-1 was taken from Heritage’s Fantasy series, 1356 – Wargs, and packaged as Dungeon Dwellers. It could not be confirmed if figures 1251B-1 and 1251C-1 were ever included in the 1356 blisters, but they did appear in the early Dungeon Dwellers blisters until Max Carr was able to sculpt the later version of the Wolves.

1251 – Wolves (Resculpted)

1252 – Pegasus & Unicorn

Note:

Figures 1252A-1, 1252B-1, and 1252C-1 were taken from the Heritage Fantasy series, 1340 – Unicorn, 1341 – Pegasus, and packaged as Dungeon Dwellers.

1252 – Pegasus & Unicorn (Resculpted)

1253 – Minotaurs

Note:

Figure 1253A-1 was taken from the Heritage Fantasy series, 1351 – Minotaurs The Most Ferocious and Cunning of Beasts, and packaged as Dungeon Dwellers. As sculpting of the Dungeon Dwellers line continued, figure 1253A-2 was added to the range. However, when work began on putting out the white box sets, figure 1253A-2 was replaced with figure 1253A-3 due to casting issues with the axe.

1254 – Vampires

Note:

Designations for figures 1254A and 1254B could not be confirmed by past Heritage employees and were randomly assigned.

1255 – Pixies & Sprites

Note:

Figure 1255A  was taken from the Heritage Fantastiques series, 1156 – Pixies Flying and Walking, and packaged as Dungeon Dwellers.

1256 – Centaurs

1257 – Brawn Hulk

Note:

Figure 1257A was taken from Heritage’s Fantasy series, 1350 – Brawn Hulk, and packaged as Dungeon Dwellers.

1258 – Carrion Worm

1259 – Frost Giant

1260 – Mind Disrupters

Update:

The previous designations shown on my site for figures 1260A and 1260B have changed. The Mind Disrupter, with his hand raised (1260A), came from another earlier Heritage line. It would make sense that this would be figure “A” and the later figure sculpted for the Dungeon Dwellers line would be 1260B.

Notes:

Designations for figures 1260A and 1260B could not be confirmed by past Heritage employees and are being assigned based on the update above. Figure 1260A was taken from Heritage’s Fantasy series, 1349 – Mind-Beater, and packaged as Dungeon Dwellers.

1261 – Imps

Note:

Past Heritage employees could not confirm designations for figures 1261A and 1261B, but most felt they were correctly labeled.

1262 – Demons

1263 – Female Demons

Notes:

1264 – Hell Hounds

Note:

Designations for figures 1264A, 1264B, 1264C, and 1264D could not be confirmed by past Heritage employees and were randomly assigned.

1265 – Plant Creatures

1266 – Slimes & Jellies

1267 – Giant Rats & Centipedes

Note:

Designations for figures 1267A and 1267B could not be confirmed by past Heritage employees and were randomly assigned.

1268 – Giant Toads & Snakes

Note:

Figure 1268A was taken from Heritage’s Fantasy series, 1355 – Giant Cobra, and packaged as Dungeon Dwellers.

1269 – Giant Ticks & Fire Beetles

1270 – Bats & Blood Birds

1271 – Were Creatures

1272 – Harpies

Note:

Past Heritage Employees were unable to confirm which base came first. Some said that the shorter base came later and was part of Heritage’s cost-saving approach to reduce metal usage. Others said that the longer base came last to improve the stability issues of the shorter base. For this reason, the designations for 1272A-1 and 1272A-2 were randomly assigned.

1273 – Dragon

Note:

Figures 1273A-1, 1273B-1, and 1273C-1 were taken from Heritage’s Fantasy series, 1375 – Dragon, and were shown as the figure provided with the Caverns of Doom set on the front box art photograph. This same Dragon did appear in blister form until sculpting of the later issued Dragon was complete. Included in the 1375 series dragon was a tongue that could be attached; it is not clear based on the box art and the photo of the blister if this was included in the Dungeon Dwellers series. Designations for figures 1273A-1, 1273B-1, and 1273C-1 could not be confirmed by past Heritage employees and were randomly assigned. Based on comments made by Willard Dennis (ex Heritage Employee), figures 1273A-2 and 1273B-2 were sculpted for the Dungeon Dwellers line. However, he indicated that the other versions 1273A-3 and 1273B-3, came from another Heritage line and that both versions could have made their way into blisters and box sets. The only other Heritage series that used the later style Dragon is from the Dragon series, 1007 – White Dragon. Both figures 1273C-2 and 1273D were used for both versions of the later Dungeon Dwellers Dragon. The wing (1273D) had no mold designation and was randomly assigned. The 1273D wing was also used as wings for the Dungeon Dwellers, 1249 Gargoyles and Heritage’s Fantasy series,  1352 – Classic Gargoyles from Years Gone By.

1274 – Black Dragon

1275 – Hydra

Note:

Figure 1275A-1 was replaced with figure 1275A-2 due to casting issues the recessed claw/foot caused when pulling the body from the mold. The recessed claw did cause premature tearing of the production mold. The recessed claw also caused fully assembled Hydras to tipper over due to the weight of the heads and only having three feet to provide stability.

1276 – Wights & Wraiths

1277 – Groaning Spirit, Hag, Lich, Spectre

Note:

Willard Dennis (ex Heritage Employee) believes these figures were sculpted by an outside sculptor but did not know by whom.

1278 – Wink Dogs

1279 – Displacer Cats

1280 – Lizard Men

Note:

Figure 1280A was taken from Heritage’s Fantasy series, 1343 – Lizard Man Sword and Shield, and packaged as Dungeon Dwellers. In an interview with Willard Dennis (ex Heritage Employee), the other Lizard Man yielding a halberd from the 1342 series was never included in the Dungeon Dweller blister packs.

1280 – Lizard Men (Resculpted)

1281 – Griffon

1282 – Hippogriff

1283 – Elementals: Earth, Air, Water, Fire

Update:

The previous designations shown on my site for figures 1283B and 1283D were incorrect. They have now been revised. The wind elemental is designated 1283D, and the fire elemental is designated 1283B.

1284 – Chimera

1285 – Orcus, Prince of the Undead

1286 – Asmodeus (Lucifer)

1287 – Golem

1288 – Lesser Devils

Note:

Check on figures included.

1289 – Cockatrice & Basilisk

1290 – Dijinni

1291 – Beholding Sphere & Neo-Omnivois

1292 – Titan

1293 – Giant Spiders

1294 – Gnolls

1295 – Hobgoblins

1296 – Elves

1297 – Dwarves

Note:

The designations on the bottom of figures 1297A and 1297C both indicate “1297A”. Past Heritage employees could not confirm the designations and were randomly assigned.

1298 – Lamia & Manticore

Note:

Willard Dennis (ex Heritage Employee) believes these figures were sculpted by an outside sculptor but did not know by whom.

1299 – Hill Giant
